Capacity Building for the Teachers

The Teachers' Capacity Building Programme, thoughtfully crafted by ROPES, aims to equip educators with the essential skills and knowledge to drive change in their personal, classroom, and school environments. This program offers a unique blend of theoretical and practical training, empowering teachers to create educational strategies that are effective, innovative, and adaptable to the evolving landscape of teaching and learning. The program was inclusive, and open to both government school teachers and Creative Learning Centres volunteers. The methodology employed in this program was comprehensive, covering curriculum standards, content knowledge, teaching and learning approaches, and logistics of use.

Participants gained valuable practical experience in using active-learning methods, enabling them to provide their students with the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for success in life. The program was a resounding success, with a total of 116 school teachers, comprising 63 men and 53 women, participating and benefiting from this enriching experience.
