Skill Development

ROPES has implemented life skill training and career guidance programs for adolescent boys and girls and youth below 24 years. Such initiatives are crucial in helping participants acquire the knowledge, skills, and experience necessary to succeed in society. It is also commendable that these programs prepare participants for the changing workplace of the 21st century by teaching labor market changes and the complexity of the workplace.

Equally important is the need to provide life skills education to all school-going children, as it enables them to acquire timely and relevant information, respond to opportunities and challenges, and cope with the ever-changing needs of society.

It is encouraging to know that the National Curriculum Framework for school education emphasizes the need for education to prepare students to face the challenges of life and be intimately linked with different life skills. It is essential to correct the isolation of learning and link knowledge with life outside the school.

Computer Training
